Kellett School, the British International School in Hong Kong, is thrilled to announce, that after eight years of fundraising and countless acts of generosity, the School has reached its goal of raising HKD$26 million by their 50th Anniversary Celebrations.
Since the campaign began in 2018, Kellett parents, staff, students and alumni have generously given to the AMD Fund for Bursaries & Outreach, with many more also volunteering their time and efforts at various fundraising activities. This remarkable achievement shows what’s possible when Kellett sets hearts and minds to reach a goal.
Principal & CEO, Paul Tough, shares, “Achieving this goal, which seemed so daunting when we launched it 8+ years ago, is the result of dozens of activities and thousands of acts of generosity from Kellett families. What’s even more incredible is the hundreds of young people who have benefitted thanks to our collective commitment to helping our local communities.”
“It’s inspiring to see what we can achieve when we come together, just as our Founders did some 50 years ago,” shares Director of Fundraising and Partnerships Megan Bruns.
Since 2018, the AMD Fund, named after the School’s longest serving Principal Ann Mc Donald OBE, has supported 350 under-served children at Outreach and given 14 children the life-changing gift of a full-time Kellett education through bursaries.
