Following a Membership Engagement Visit in late 2025, Kellett is delighted to be welcomed as a Member of the Council of International Schools (CIS), recognising Kellett’s strong safeguarding/wellbeing culture, clear values and the alignment between leadership intent and everyday practice. This is the first step to a more rigorous full accreditation.

A global membership community of more than 1580 international schools and higher education institutions, across 121 countries, CIS explores and develops effective practices to foster healthy, interculturally competent global citizens.

CIS International Accreditation is a mark of quality assurance and distinction for international schools, enabling Kellett to benchmark the quality and improvement of its educational programmes with leading international practice. Taking place over the next 18 months, the School will conduct a whole-school self-study, including an evaluation of Kellett’s Mission/Vision and strategic prioritie s.

Welcoming Kellett’s membership, Paul Tough, Principal & CEO, remarked,  ‘This is a significant milestone for our community and marks an important first step on our journey towards full accreditation, formally beginning a rigorous two-year process of reflection, development and growth. We are excited to embark on this journey of self-study and external evaluation, as it aligns with our commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.’
