BSO
Kellett was awarded outstanding across every category following a BSO (British Schools Overseas) Inspection, part of the UK's Department for Education) following a rigorous inspection in 2023.

COBIS
In late 2021 Kellett was awarded the highest status, Patron's Accredited Member, by COBIS (Council for British International Schools) following an accreditation visit, a first for a school in Hong Kong. Kellett joins only 6 other schools in Asia to have been awarded Patron’s Accredited Membership and is the only school in Hong Kong to do so. In recognition of our approach to well-being, we have also been awarded Beacon School status. Beacon status is awarded only for excellence, and means we are looked at as an example of best-practice for other schools to learn from. A summary of the report can be found here.
HMC
Kellett Senior School has been a member of HMC (Headmasters’ and Headmistresses’ Conference) since 2019. HMC, established in 1869, is a professional association of the heads of the world's leading independent schools, with the vast majority of members in the British Isles. Membership of the Conference has long been a hallmark that exemplifies quality, innovation and excellence in education, encompassing pastoral care, co-curricular provision as well as classroom teaching. All HMC member schools are regularly inspected and accredited.
IAPS
Both Prep Schools have been members of IAPS (Independent Association of Prep Schools) since 2018, and were the first schools in Hong Kong to be granted membership. Established in 1892, IAPS members share best practice, undertake professional development and network. To become a member, schools need to be accredited by an approved government inspectorate and meet exacting standards.
FOBISIA
Kellett is a founding member of FOBISIA (Federation of British International Schools in Asia), a not-for-profit organisation that promotes excellence in British-international education and provides peer-to-peer support, continuing professional development and student enrichment opportunities for a diverse range of Member Schools in Asia.
