Sixth Form Centre
In August 2026, we will open our new Sixth Form Centre across from our Kowloon Bay Campus. Spread over 3716m2 or 40,000ft2 the university-style facilities will include over a dozen classrooms, state of the art study areas for both independent and collaborative work, a small lecture theatre, exam rooms, Higher Education counselling rooms, and social spaces to enable our students to thrive academically and socially.
The classrooms are designed to facilitate a variety of teaching styles, including a Harkness room for discursive humanities lessons more akin to small group tutor sessions at university, and a dedicated PE theory classroom equipped with fitness monitoring equipment.
The Centre has been thoughtfully designed to reflect the transitional nature of Sixth Form with students preparing for a move to university and another level of independence. Reflecting our location in Kowloon Bay, formerly the home to Kai Tak airport, the design speaks to the important lift-off experience Kellett Sixth Form provides into tertiary education and adulthood.
Leisure Swimming
As a break from academia, students are free to use the gym and indoor swimming pool during their study lessons, before or after school.
Responsibility & Independence
Reaching the Sixth Form is a significant milestone in a student’s education, and as such students are given greater responsibility, as well as more independence and privileges. Sixth Formers are supported by a dedicated team of staff, encouraging students to develop independent study skills. In addition, the school offers a range of highly sought after leadership opportunities, with student leaders taking on substantial positions of responsibility in both the Houses and wider school.
