Physical Education and Sport are an integral part of student life at Kellett. A great importance is placed on the value of these areas as a core element of a balanced education, which is delivered through both the curriculum and extra curricular activities. Our aim is to encourage participation, opportunity, sportsmanship and also to promote a healthy and active lifestyle.

All students follow a broad and balanced programme in school, which encourages their individual development across a number of areas. They also learn to play an important part within a team. A wide range of activities are taught and this allows for more specific skills and tactics to be developed, as students progress through the school.

Through our ECAs, curriculum sports, and our affiliation with the Federation of British International Schools in Asia (FOBISIA), Kellett students are afforded the opportunity to participate in a wide range of sports against some of the best schools in Asia.

Having two Prep schools often allows our Prep students the opportunity to compete against each other, as well as with each other, across the two campuses. When they progress to the Senior School, this friendly competition continues as students compete in inter-house competitions.

As a result of our commitment to PE and Sport, many of our students go on to national honours, representing Hong Kong in various sports, and building on the foundations they have gained from school. Our links with the local sporting clubs and organisations are very strong and continue to grow, as does our reputation for sport within Hong Kong.
