Kellett School community came together in May 2023 to celebrate the long-awaited Charity Ball. Due to the COVID pandemic, the school had not been able to hold a Ball for the last four years, making this year's celebration even more special.
Organised by our wonderful Parents Committee, the evening was a gathering of our community; parents, staff and friends of Kellett to raise funds to provide bursary places for students who otherwise would not be able to attend the School.
Generously gifted auction items were bid on live and in advance to include those who were unable to attend.
The Mira Hotel, sponsored the event, providing an incredible setting and exceptional service, including a rather special Kellett dessert! World winning ballroom dancers from the fabulous Ballroom Bees dancers and On Point band, whose drummer is a member of staff, got toes tapping and filled the dance floor.
Thanks to the hard work and dedication of the Parents' Committee and the generosity of our community, the Ball raised an impressive $3 million for the AMD Fund for bursaries. To find out more about this bursary fund see our page here.
