"My family and I are always grateful for what Kellett has done for our children. There's no doubt that it is having a positive and powerful impact on our children's learning journey. We hope that more students can benefit from a Kellett Bursary. As Nelson Mandela said, 'Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world'".
Quote from the parent of a Kellett Bursary student
"I donate to the AMD Fund because as Dr Seuss says, “the more that you learn, the more places you’ll go” and every kid has a right to access these infinite possibilities."
Quote from Silvia, parent and Chair of the Board of Governors
"There are a lot of things the most vulnerable kids in our society need– food, shelter, clothing, medical services. But the one most likely to affect their lives is access to education. Education has not only the power to change a child live today but also to change his future.
Kellett’s bursary programme does exactly that, it gives kids that otherwise would have not access to publicly funded quality education in Hong Kong (due to language, financial and social barriers), the possibility of a bright future. But by donating to Kellett’s AMF, you are doing much more than that. You are also inspiring your kids and the rest of the Kellett community about the importance of community service, you are inspiring them to become agents of positive change through social engagement. And those are skills our leaders of tomorrow will need."
Quote from Lourdes, parent
Here Ann Mc Donald OBE and Kellett’s Principal & CEO Mark Steed, along with others in our community, explain why they believe this initiative is so important.
