Kellett libraries are designed and run to support the school’s aim to be a dynamic learning environment.
We currently have a collection of classic and contemporary books, revision guides, reference materials, modern foreign language materials, journals, newspapers, online resources and audio visual materials which support academic study and promote reading for pleasure. We have over 40,000 books and other materials, all researched and selected to criteria which ensures quality and variety. Students typically borrow over 53,000 items during the year.
To support and enrich the library we host a number of extra-curricular activities including author visits, book clubs (which include inter-school book competitions), and Book Week activities. Recent author visits include Ying Chang Compestine, Valerie Bloom, Matthew Cooper and Blair Reeve.
