Kellett moved to its present purpose-built site in 1980. In addition to 18 classrooms, there is a spacious well-equipped hall for physical education and drama, a well stocked library with over 14,000 books, two well resourced music rooms and specially-equipped rooms for art, pottery, cooking, Chinese studies and English as an Additional Language studies. The school has a bookshop and a large covered play area.
Information communication technology capability is viewed as a basic skill and has high priority in the curriculum from Reception to Primary Six. The School's ICT facilities were substantially upgraded in 2000, with continued upgrades on a regular basis. New for 2005/06 is interactive white boards in every classroom.
The outdoor facilities include a garden, adventure playground, astro-turf sports area and a roof playground. During the winter months, Primary 4, 5 and 6 children are taken to a local sports field for games.
In 2005 the school broke ground on a new extension for the school. Follow the progress of the extension project. |
