Parking
Because of the increase in the number of staff this school year, there are no available parking spaces at school. However, there is now a paid parking lot next door at a very reasonable rate of $14 per hour with plenty of parking spaces; this is available until 4pm daily.
Unfortunately, there is no adjacent parking available for evening meetings.
There are public car parks available on the Wah Fu Estate.
There is to be no parking on Wah Lok Path.
If you or your driver are picking children up after school, please use the parking lot.
Transportation
Children travel to Kellett School by school bus, public bus or car. Prior to the commencement of the school year, all families must complete a Transportation Form, which indicates how their children will be travelling to and from school, and the days on which they will be attending after school activities.
Kellett School's bus service is provided by Kwoon Chung Bus Holdings Limited, which currently operates services on the following routes morning and afternoon:
- Red Hill / Tai Tam
- Stanley
- Repulse Bay
- The Peak
- Mid-Levels, West
- 5a. Mid-Levels, East
- Parkview and South Horizons
- Pokfulam
- Shouson Hill
- Repulse Bay and Deepwater Bay
- Chung Hom Kok
A bus application must be completed.
For the Autumn term, special buses operate to take Reception children home at midday, on the following routes:
- Repulse Bay / Stanley / Tai Tam
- Shouson Hill / Deep Water Bay / Repulse Bay
- The Peak / Mid-Levels
- Pokfulam / Robinson Road
Within reason, every effort is made to accommodate all children who wish to travel to and from school by bus. As a consequence, routes may change, or children may be required to take one bus in the morning and another in the afternoon. Any queries regarding the bus service or routes should be directed to the school's Bus Co-ordinator, Ms Cindy Chan.
Children may travel on alternative buses if there is space available. Children who do not normally travel by bus may do so on an occasional basis for a nominal charge. In both instances, please check with the Bus Co-ordinator that there is space on the bus for extra children. Any child travelling on a different bus must have a bus note. Bus notes should not be faxed to the School Office. Twenty four hours notice must be given if a child is to travel home on a different bus. |
