Matthew Brown
1990 to 1994
Wow! Very, very strange to see the old place again. I have to admit that I had not thought of Kellett for a while and it was only last night that the school was really in my thoughts again - I was looking with some friends at the old Kellett magazine and squirming over the pictures of me acting in "Blastoff" when I was in Primary Four (Five?). I was drawn to looking for the schools website and lo and behold I found it...I was at Kellett from 1990 to 1994, and I have to admit I loved the place. I was very upset when I left to go to prep school in the UK. I have finished my A-Levels and will be going in October to read Politics at the University of Durham. During my gap year I have been writing and researching my novel, writing for magazines/newspapers and indulging in my dual passions of shopping and politics! We left Hong Kong in 1997 when my father died, but still try and come back regularly. Hong Kong is the most wonderful city in the world (after London...).
It is wonderful to see the old place again and I would love to stay in touch. It would be really nice to hear from anyone at the school, particularly either Mrs Angelsy (is she still there) or Mrs Anderson?? When did Mrs Steer leave?
Wow, a big happy smile has been brought to my face...
Hope to hear from someone soon: matthew@matthewbrown.org.uk
