Lauren Whitters
1991 to 1995
I was at Kellett from 1991(P3) to 1995(P6) , along with my younger brother and sister, Alexander and Emily-Rose. When I finished primary six at Kellett, I went to boarding school in Britain, unfortunately not lasting very long - a total of three weeks! I moved back to Hong Kong and went to West Island School for two years, afterwhich we moved back to Britain (1997). I was at Morrison's Academy in Perthshire for five years, and I am now at Edinburgh University; I'm also engaged to a lovely Canadian.
I have many memories of Kellett - swapping stickers and doing french skipping in the playground, putting on amazing plays (Blast-Off being the most memorable!), going on camps... I count myself very lucky to have gone to such a caring and fun school. I also recall spending our primary three camp in school, due to a typhoon, and doing chinese cooking and calligraphy in primary five. Bus rides home were always entertaining - I was on bus route 1, later moving
onto bus route 9 (the most riotous by far). I've not visited Hong Kong for six years now, but I'm trying to organise a trip there sometime soon! I seem to spend all my time between Canada and Britain at the moment though.
I've lost contact with everyone who I was at school with, but if anyone remembers me I'd love to hear from you. My email address is l.f.m.whitters@sms.ed.ac.uk |
