1996 to 1998
I spent two years in Kellett School, but out of all the schools I have attended in the past eight years, most of my fondest memories are from when I was in Kellett. While I was in Kellett I did so many things, and so many good times, thinking of kellett now is a treasure chest full of memories. After I left Kellett I went to West Island for a year, then I was whisked away to Garden International school in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This is where I am studying today. I am now in yr 11, and in just under six months I'll be taking my finals. From there I can say I will be moving to Jamaica with my parents, which should be an interesting adventure!
After all this time though I haven't come across a school that can put on a school production any where near as well as Kellett. One of my most vivid memories is my end of yr 6 play, in which I played one of the nagging teachers. In one of the more colourful parts of the show, I joined three others and danced along to "oh I do like to be beside the seaside", dressed in the most awful pink dress I have ever seen, and no doubt will ever see! None the less it is an experience I never care to forget!
I'd like to thank all the teachers in Kellett that gave me those memories, after all what is childhood without memories! Special thanks to Mr. Nevin (for always sorting everything out), Mrs Anglesy (for always kicking my butt), Mr Miller (for being the best yr 6 teacher a student could have), Mrs Chan (for being so damn cool!) and of course Mrs Speed (for giving me confidence in everything I did, and helping me express myself through song!) I'd also like to thank my friends Sarah Simpson and Hannah Beasley, who have some link to every memory I have in Kellett. (I have lost contact with them, so if anyone has their e-mail, or they are reading this then e-mail me and tell me how you are!)
