Ari Rogers
1995 to 2002

I was at Kellett from 1995-2002. After leaving Kellett I was at Island School in Hong Kong I enjoyed the school and still carried on my passion for rugby.

Since rugby played such an important part in my life, I decided that if I wanted to play rugby when I was older, I would have to go to a country where rugby was taken more seriously. Half way through year 9 at Island School I decided to make my way down south and attend the mighty King's College in Auckland, New Zealand. A school which has produced world class all blacks and has a strong reputation for their rugby and I'm grateful for my rugby which has taken me this far.

I'm now a boarder in year 10 at King's, and already I was selected to represent Auckland at U14 level. I'm really enjoying school and it is a great school to finish of my schooling. As well as my rugby I am commited to the school orchestra and the concert band, I play the oboe in both groups.

My parents are still living in Hong Kong so it gives me the oppertunity to come up every so often which is great. My brother is currently at University in Sydney (he also was at Kellett).
I still have fond memorys of my time at Kellett and I appreciate that I was able to go to such a caring school. I still keep in contact with many of my Kellett friends no matter how far away from each other.

Hi im Ari I was at Kellett from 1995-2002 7years!! I still live in Hong Kong and go to Island School. I am in yr7 and I am still playing the Oboe in the senior Orchestra (grade 4). I also am on the Island School D grade rugby team and this season we won the Sha Tin Collage Tournament with me as captain. We scored 24 trys and 0 against!! I was also offerd to play in the C grade rugby team yrs 8-9 but I chose not to. I am now playing two instruments the Oboe and Drum kit. I am hoping to start a band on the drums. I am playing rugby, football and I am doing well in running winning both the 100m and 200m and I won the 100m freestyle. I would like to thank all the teachers I had a Kellett. I would like to mention Mr. Kelly for being such a wonderful teacher and being such an amazing rugby coach. If any people that know me would like to contact me you can add me to msn messenger or email me at kerrang5000@hotmail.com
