Rebecca Morris
1980 to 1982
My name is Rebecca Morris and I went to Kellett from 1980 until about 1982. My brother Daniel was in the class two years ahead of me. We left Hong Kong for Adelaide around 1982 and then moved to San Diego, California in 1987. I went to high school in San Diego the did a BA in History of Art in San Francisco. I am now married and living in London. I can't believe it has taken me so long to look up the Kellett web site but when I finally did it brought back some fantastic memories. I was lucky enough to be a student of the temporary premises and have memories of our roof top playground and the excitement of moving to the new site. I remember loving art classes (Mrs Lamont?) and playing the recorder, Mrs Vinny and the tad poles (I still have the book each of us had to write on frogs, and my pink pencil with my name
stuck on it.) and one year in the Brownies as a Pixie I believe. Vague visions of a strange club my friends and I formed called the Kissing Club. If it's not too late I think I should apologize to all our poor boy victims! Oh, I could go on and on. Class mates I remember are my bestest friend AbigailThompkins, Rewa, Katherine, Hugo. The faces are so clear but the names seem to have disappeared. It would be great to hear from anyone who remembers who on
