Alix (Alexandra) Aldcroft
1986 to 1989

I was at Kellett from 1986-1989. I always look back at Kellett with very fond memories. I remember my brothers year did a programme for 'Noodles' and I remember watching the class get ready and practising, and it being such a huge secret, and we still watch it now, if only to embarrass him. My most vivid memories are of when we used to go on school trips to islands, and how much fun we used to have, especially one trip we had with Mr Nevin, when he joined in all our games and we had a fabulous time. The friends I made there were great too. I left in such a hurry, as most people did that I never got to say goodbye. I have since met up with one of my friends again, Sophie Bolland, and we are now in regular contact.

I trained as a radio producer and presenter after leaving school, and after a few years working in the media industry I decided to leave, and have a break. I now have an 11 month old daughter, Ellie and I am working at the University of Surrey in Guildford, UK. I still go back to HK as my Dad still lives there. I miss it so much and I do look at HK as being my home as I grew up there, and Kellett gave me the grounding that I have today.

Thank you to all the staff who taught me, and I do hope to go back to see the school one day. I would love anyone to get in touch with me who remembers me: alixaldcroft@hotmail.com
